Sunset-Less Beach

So yesterday was a long, fun, yet ended with disappointment.
My family and I took a trip down to Cape May yesterday. I really wanted to go to take pictures of the sunset over the delaware bay and the lighthouse. We stopped at the zoo for a bit, then went to the shoppes, then hit up the lighthouse. I didn't get to go up the lighthouse though =\. Maybe the next time. Anyways, after we got food and started heading down Sunset Blvd, the sun ducked behind some clouds. Unfortunately, it stayed there through the sunset. **tear** =[
I guess I'll have to go again.

Warped Tour

I had a lot of fun at warped tour on monday. I got to see Brian's band, The Eternal Affect. I also finally got to see Four Year Strong, Story of the Year, Relient K, and see Angels and Airwaves again.
Next year, I'm getting a photo pass. I want to take some kick ass photos.

But I found Lightning.
So My Dad, Mom, Sister, and I went to Cherry Hill today for some expo that was boring as hell. Anyway, on the way home it started to rain and then thunder and lightning. Well.. My sister wanted Wendy's so we turned off Rt 70 onto 73, found wendy's, made a turn and got lost for about an hour or so. Luckily in that part of Jersey, there are either woods or open fields. Eventually after an hour, we found Rt 70 again and made it home..

Dark Knight

I just got home from seeing this about a half hour ago. I have to say, this was probably the best movie I have ever seen. Heath Ledger was, well, the only word to describe his performance that I can think of is... amazing!

The movie opened up with some action. Followed by more action, and then, more action. In between were several "comedic" parts played out by the Joker. I still don't know why when Bruce Wayne puts on that mask, that he sounds like he is possessed by the devil... but that didn't affect the movie. The acting was flawless (with the exception of demon batmans voice), the action sequence were full of actiony awesome-ness, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. There's quite a few twists in the movie, but I won't spoil that for anybody.

Its such a shame the Heath Ledger died.. I'm sure that the Joker would have returned in a future movie if he was still alive. And I'm also very glad that they didn't edit out certain scenes because of his death. GO SEE THIS MOVIE ASAP!

So 4th of July has come and gone.
My cousin came down. It was cool hanging out with him again.
We went to go to Jenks on Friday, but there traffic was ridiculous and we missed 95% of the fireworks, so we drove south to Brick Beach to see some of seasides from a distance. Mine came out horrible, but this one guy that I'm friends with on Flickr got an awesome shot in Pennsylvania.
I'm jealous. I'm getting my tripod soon, so I'll go try and get some fireworks shots later this summer.

and possibly Ed- bass

So yeah. I'm gonna make a myspace as soon as we decide on a name.
I'm super pumped. We're practicing later today.

1 More Day!

So in less than 34 hours, I will be at Gamestop picking up the game of the year.
I can not wait.

How awesome is this? I have this sweet Yahoo Widgets program for my desktop, and you can download a flickr one that rotates through the interesting pictures. Its really cool. But anyways, I just love the way the clouds light up and the water and the light from the cars blurred around the corner. Its really a great shot.

Also. I beat the story mode of Grand Theft Auto IV last night. So now all I have left to do is steal cars, build my friends relationships, kill pigeons, and kill some people to get to 100%.. June 12 needs to get here fast!

Hmm.

So I don't really do much on this, but I doubt anybody is really going to read this. I guess it's a good place to just vent and talk (to myself?) about things.

Bowling ended tonight. My team finished in 7th for the 1/2, but technically we were 6th since two teams tied for 5th. Now that school is out (still need to pick classes though), I've been playing more of my PS3. I love this thing. I'm so glad that I got it when I did last year, before they started coming out with the ones that don't play PS2 games. Anyways, apparently HAZE didn't get a very good rating from IGN (only a 4.5/10). I guess I'll be renting this, I'll probably do that after GRID comes out. This seems to be a pretty good racer. The only other one really is BURNOUT PARADISE, but that hasn't gone down in price yet, but it does have some free content coming later this year =]. Every day that passes is another day closer to METAL GEAR SOLID 4 though. I can not wait for this game. I've already paid of my Limited Edition and ordered my LE Guide too. Only 3 more weeks =].

Well I'm gonna crash for the evening. I think I'm going to finally record some guitar shit. Maybe some vocals.
